Introducing Beth Collins, LCSWA Message from Our Executive Director

Our Leadership Team

Grounded in empathy, trauma-informed care, and dedicated community service.

Christie Goulet

Executive Director
"True healing begins when we see the whole person—honoring their lived experience, providing a safe space to grow, and ensuring their fundamental needs are met. At Phoenix Rising, we walk alongside our community every step of the way."

Christie leads our team with compassion and empathy, bringing over 15 years of dedicated service in the behavioral health and community care fields. She graduated from the University of Maine at Augusta with a Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, holding a concentration in Psychology, Community Services, and Art.

Her multidisciplinary background shapes Phoenix Rising’s whole-person mission—integrating clinical excellence with active community advocacy. Under Christie’s leadership, Phoenix Rising ensures clients receive emotional support while bridging essential connections to stable housing, food security, home heating assistance (HEAP), and local community action programs like KVCAP.

Beth Collins, LCSW

Clinical Director
"Healing doesn't happen when we dwell on what's 'wrong' with someone—it begins when we honor what they’ve survived. My purpose is to hold a steady, compassionate space where individuals can rediscover their innate strength and reclaim their stories."
Now Accepting Referrals: Comprehensive Clinical Assessments & Trauma-Informed Individual Counseling.

Beth brings a wealth of clinical expertise, grounded leadership, and deep commitment to trauma-informed, person-centered care. In her role as Clinical Director, Beth guides our clinical vision, mentors providers, and ensures that evidence-based, compassionate practices remain central to our client care.

Beth specializes in working with individuals navigating the impacts of stress, past adversity, and trauma. By shifting from "what is wrong with you?" to "what happened to you?", Beth creates a supportive, regulated space where clients set the pace on their personal journey to resilience and healing.

Michael Pushard

Executive Director of Finance & Operations
"Behind every breakthrough in care is a solid foundation. When our systems, operations, and resources run smoothly, our providers can pour their full energy into what matters most: helping our community heal."

Michael is the architectural backbone that keeps Phoenix Rising running smoothly behind the scenes. Wearing virtually every administrative hat available, he oversees everything from billing and payroll to rigorous chart audits—ensuring regulatory compliance and keeping the entire agency firmly on course. Equal parts financial strategist and tech troubleshooter, Michael fluently navigates our complex EHR systems, handles everyday IT emergencies, and translates operational chaos into streamlined order with calm precision and quiet humor.

Jessika Goulet

Director of Human Resources
"To truly care for our community, we must first care for the people serving it. Building an environment rooted in trust, genuine support, and mutual respect allows our clinicians and staff to do their most impactful work."

Jessika brings high-energy organizational leadership, sharp interpersonal instincts, and a steady hand to Phoenix Rising’s human resources. Having mastered fast-paced, high-volume people management in the trenches of corporate hospitality leadership, she is uniquely equipped to handle the unpredictable, dynamic needs of a growing team. Jessika champions a positive workplace culture, resolves complex personnel matters with empathy and clear boundaries, and vigilantly upholds the ethical standards and core integrity of our agency.

Amanda Brown

Office Manager & Scheduling Coordinator
"Taking that first step to ask for support is often the hardest part of the journey. My goal is to make sure every person who calls or walks through our doors feels instantly heard, welcomed, and met with genuine care."

Amanda is often the very first voice and friendly face to welcome individuals to Phoenix Rising, setting a tone of warmth, safety, and respect from the very first hello. Serving as the vital bridge between our community and clinical care, she manages the complex pulse of daily scheduling with patience, precision, and deep empathy. Amanda understands that reaching out for support can take immense courage; she ensures that every intake, appointment, and inquiry is met with reassurance rather than red tape.

Behind the scenes, her organizational skill and calm under pressure keep the front office humming, creating a seamless, welcoming environment where clients feel immediately valued and providers have the administrative grounding they need to do their best work.
